On Thursday 15th July a small group of us visited the Panacea Society Museum in Bedford. What a fascinating place and a most informative and enjoyable tour.
I think we sometimes forget how much history Bedford has to offer!
The gardens were fabulous (and that comes from someone who isn’t particularly bothered about flowers!). I didn’t know that anyone can go and sit in the gardens, and take a picnic. Such a lovely tranquil place! If you haven’t been then it is well worth a visit.
Some of us stayed to have a toasted tea cake, although the coffee shop is very small we managed to share it with other people. Carol O’Brien, the CEO from Bedford Sight Concern, and Simon Hart (we don’t think we are related) took the photo. It was lovely to meet them!
