Mike's Line Dancing Disco
20 March 2010
For the 4th year running Mike organised a sponsored line dance for Bosom Pals and presented us with a cheque of £300.
Not satisfied with that, in May he organised a Tush Push a Thon which involved dancing for 12 minutes non stop. The Tush Push is quite a fast dance and Mike encouraged all of his members to take part.
At the last meeting he presented a cheque for £1330 to our Treasurer, Adriana. This was a wonderful achievement and we are very grateful to Mike, his team and all the line dancers who took part and everyone who sponsored the event.
Caterina Vass, our volunteer tea lady, took part and raised over £115.50 herself. Well done Caterina.
One of the line dancers, Pauline, (centre) made a beautiful “Boobie” cake which she presented to some of the Bosom Pals members on the evening.
It was cut and given to all those attending the disco.
It was as good as it looked.
Thank you Pauline

When Adriana and I were first invited to go to Unipath (as it was then) and discuss their request to sponsor Bosom Pals for a year, little did we realise that the sponsorship would go on for more than 2 years and that Bosom Pals would be nearly £16K better off as a result.
