A visit to the Poppy Factory at Richmond has been arranged for Tuesday, 10 April.  A coach will pick us up at 8am from Bedford (exact location still awaiting confirmation) and take us to the factory.  The tour lasts about 2 hours during which time you will have a chance to try to make a poppy yourself - using only 1 hand - and there will be tea and biscuits provided.  The coach will then transport us to the centre of Richmond where there are restaurants and shops or you can enjoy a lovely stroll along the river if you so desire.  We will leave Richmond at 1600 to return to Bedford.

The cost of the coach is £12 and the factory visit is free.  Please let Brenda know if you are interested in going as there are only a few places left.

    7:30 pmCentenary Hall, Kempston, MK42 8BG

Members plus 1 guest are invited to attend our Christmas Social on Wednesday, 12 December at the Centenary Hall, Kempston from 7.30pm.  There will be a finger buffet with wine, beer and soft drinks.  It is rumored that Father Christmas may also be there.   This year we are asking for £2 as a small cover charge, children at no cost, and this should be paid by the middle of October so that we can supply food and drink for that number rather than having to guess which has led to a large waste of food in the past.  Please give your name and money to Brenda or one of the other committee members;  alternatively payment can be made by BACS to our Barclays Bank Account no 33505308, sort code 20-05-74 with an email letting us know to bosom-palsbedford@outlook.com.
