Anglo/Italian Dance
Adriana and Rod King held their tenth Anglo/Italian Dance in April.  It was another resounding success and the grand total of £1035 was raised.  Adriana had said that this year’s would be the last one but succumbed to pleas from people attending the latest one and has relented and will hold another one next year.

Cake Stall
The Cake and Craft Stall, postponed from November, was held on 23 April.  We raised £80.00 for Group Funds. Sales were quite slow as the hospital seemed very quiet.  Normally, the corridor around the Swannery Restaurant is crowded.  This time we included some crafts.  Many of them were scarves and hats which would have sold in November but, unfortunately did not sell in April.  We also had some beautiful hand made cards.  A big thank you to all members, family and friends who provided cakes and crafts for the stall, it is amazing how talented and creative some of our members and their friends are.

Sponsored Walk
The sponsored walk took place on 1 July at  Marsden Vale Millennium Country Park.  The weather was kind to us this year with only a few drops of rain.  Unfortunately the walk was not well attended, only 8 people took part.  However, we were delighted that our Patron, Gail Emms was able to join us, especially as she is flying out to China at the end of the week.   We wish her luck in the Open and hope to catch a glimpse of her on TV.
