This year we settled on Pavenham Park Golf Club and this proved to be the best for food, service and privacy so far..

Everyone was on their usual ‘bad’ behaviour and the poor staff had to keep repeating what food they had brought out.  I sometimes feel it would be best if we got everyone a hearing aid at least then they could hear people shouting.

The food was so good, I may even pop over there for lunch one weekend.  I’m not a golfing person but this place was welcoming and friendly and therefore deserves a revisit in my mind. As usual my wife and I were last to leave around 12.30, haven’t a clue why this happens but it does.  We were well stocked with food. My wife with wine as well, and we had a good drive home through the countryside and to bed, Sunday’s are great to lay in and rest but not in our household.
