SECOND BREAST CARE NURSE ARRIVES |

We were delighted to welcome the new breast care nurse, Patricia Millward to our August meeting. Patricia is married and has a 5 year old daughter, Peta, and has worked within the NHS for 10 years as a nurse and has spent most of this time at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Middlesex. |

UNIPATH “PINK FAYRE” – 24-26 OCTOBER |

A 3-day event was held at the Unipath Offices for their staff and Bosom Pals. A number of stalls were selling crafts etc, a raffle and very successful cake stall was also held and the event culminated in a balloon release. |

Elizabeth Wiggins, our breast care nurse donated a teddy bear to the group for our cake/craft fair. It didn’t sell on the day and we fell in love with it so decided to keep it as our mascot. |

The Halloween Family Disco enjoyed by all those who attended, the children especially had a great time. It was a very spooky evening with lots of witches and creepy crawlies. Most people turned up in fancy dress and it was a really good fun evening. |
