FAREWELL TO OUR MARY PDF Print E-mail

Mary MacKay, so badly missed by us allSadly, Mary MacKay, one of our Committee passed away in Moggerhanger in September 2008 after a brave and courageous fight.

Mary joined the Committee in 2004 and organised our speakers and visits and contributed to the smooth running of the Group right up until the end.

She will be greatly missed by everyone in the Group.

WE’RE IN THE PINK PDF Print E-mail

Unipath have done it again!

They organised their 2nd “Pink Fayre” from Wednesday 29 through to Friday 31st October.  The 3-day event concluded with a “Grand Draw” and “Wear it Pink Day”.  The event was organised by the Sports & Social Committee and supported by all the Unipath staff.

Bosom Pals Cake"Guess the weight of the Cake” again made by Kim, was the centre of attention with a wonderfully iced Bosom Pals logo, see picture.  What a talented lady.

Friday was a fun day, with lots of people getting into the spirit of the occasion and “in the pink”.  All proceeds from the “Pink Fayre” will be matched £ for £ by Inverness Medical and donated to Bosom Pals.

Thanks to:

  •  All the local companies for their donations and support
  •  To the Inverness Cares Team for all the hard work and organisation arranging the “Pink Fayre”.
  • A special thank you to Beccy, Lynne, Pauline and Emma
  • The very generous staff at Unipath who made the event a success.

The sponsorship given by Unipath over the last year has been extraordinary and has made such a big difference to our Charity.
